A First-Time-in-College (FTIC) student: has never attended college before. This is your first time enrolling in any college-level courses. This includes students who have recently graduated from high school, as well as those who graduated from high school many years ago or from another country.
Your N.S.U student ID, username, and password will be sent to your personal email address within 24 hours of submitting your application. This information is necessary for completing the enrollment process.

A Dual Enrollment High School Graduate: a high school graduate who participated in U.T.C Collegiate College's dual enrollment program while enrolled in high school and wishes to continue their education with N.S.U . We are excited to help you transition to college now that you are a high school graduate.

Financial Aid
When it comes to finances and paying for college costs, planning ahead is always the first step in the right direction! Since our founding in 1867, UTC Collegiate School has worked to make the fundamental right of an education accessible to all people. We believe cost should never be an obstacle to seeking the benefits of higher education. That’s why our Office of Financial Aid will work hard to make sure you are informed about the many types of aid available to you and guide you through the process of securing financial assistance.
How To Apply
Step 1: Be admitted to UTC Collegiate School (click here to apply now);
Step 2: Get a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID). Click here to visit the FAFSA site now;
Step 3: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year at https://fafsa.gov as soon as possible after October 1st for the upcoming school year. Students should not exit the website until the application has been electronically signed using FSA IDs and received a confirmation message that their information has been successfully submitted to the Department of Education.

Step 8: Check Hornets Web for award and refund information;
Step 9: Pay remaining account balance not covered by financial aid;

Note: 30% of all FAFSAs each year will be selected by the Department of Education for a process of review called verification. Database matches are performed by comparing FAFSA data with the Social Security Administration, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Selective Service System, National Student Loan Data System, and others. Students may be required to submit additional documentation to UTC Collegiate School. If you have been selected for verification, additional documents are needed. To find out if you have been selected and what is needed, do the following:

Verification Gateway (VG) from Inceptio is an online portal to guide students and parents through verification.
If your FAFSA application is selected for verification by the U.S. Department of Education, you will receive an email from VGCS@inceptia.org, or a postcard from Inceptia, containing UTC Collegiate’s unique website link to start the verification process.
